The Evolution of Union Station
Currently located directly to the East and West of Union Station, sits two lots that have been earmarked for this project. These parcels will serve as the jumping off point for a significant proposed expansion. The focus of this project will be on the following:
- Transit-Oriented Development
- Improving goods/services at the station
- Developing the area around the station

- 14 stories with 35 parking spaces
OPTION B: Tower with Second Floor Parking
- Hotel/Office/Conference
- 455,000 GSF
- 18 stories with 50 parking spaces
OPTION C: Tower with Subsurface Parking
- Hotel/Office/Conference
- 447,000 GSF
- 18 stories with 150 (max) parking spaces

It should be noted that all proposed options will include the following provisions:
- 450 max car parking spaces
- Ground level circulation for shuttles & buses only
- Designated bus/shuttle parking & turnaround
- Designated space for car rentals
- Vehicle entry is accessed off Union Avenue
- Photovoltaic panels provided on south facade
- Creates a more pedestrian friendly environment
- Considerations for retail & associated loading/trash
- Garage cannot be taller than Union Station, per SHPO
- Considerations to be given for SHPO requirements
